Gurriers release new video for "Dipping Out" taken from their acclaimed debut album, Come and See, and announce live performance on Later With Jools Holland on its return to BBC 2 on October 19.

The high-energy Irish guitar quintet, Gurriers, today release a new video for “Dipping Out”, taken from their acclaimed debut album, Come and See, out now via No Filter.

“Dipping Out” takes Gurriers’ signature biting rage and pairs it with a humorous video set in a passport photographers studio directed by Colin Peppard. Described by the band as a “post-post-punk version of an Adam Curtis documentary”, Gurriers perfectly nail the disillusionment of contemporary youth on scathing lyrics such as "Failed by a system that never really lets you exist.” Indeed, if Gurriers weren’t in a band they’d probably be part of a generation leaving Ireland in their droves, driven out by the soaring cost of living and the unattainability of home ownership, left to “live in debt and die in freedom”.

Gurriers will be performing on Later With Jools Holland on its return to BBC 2 on October 19. The band are also delighted to announce a new live show confirmed at London’s prestigious venue Scala on March 27 2025 with tickets on sale from 10am Friday October 11.

The band tours the UK next month with sold out dates in London, Bristol, Manchester, Leeds and the remaining two UK shows in Birmingham and Glasgow upgrading to bigger rooms. Dublin and Cork in Ireland are sold out too. Gurriers will also support Kneecap on their biggest headline date yet at the SSE Arena, Belfast December 21 with more shows to be announced soon.

Gurriers have been on a continuous run of electric shows and festival appearances including at The Blue Basement in London (sold out) and Dot To Dot Festival in Bristol and Nottingham, End Of The Road and Manchester & Edinburgh Psych Fest.
