Born Idiot's new single "I'd Rather Lie", is the second track of the upcoming album "Full Time Bored" via Géographie Records. The single is accompanied by an animated video directed by Léo Demeslay / Studio Megaptera.
After their first single Blue Is My Color, the five romantics of Born Idiot present “I’d Rather Lie” which keeps following the idea of a new dark age. This animated video recalls the human decline with social networks where the character falls slowly. This track is a pure pop song, a poetic walk under the rain with only two chords, a romance which closely touches reality.
Still wandering in the post-modern world, Born Idiot explores romantic tragedy of the social media era along a pop ballad.
A nocturnal saga digitally melancholic, I’d Rather Lie accompanies summer nights with a timeless simplicity.
