TSHA

TSHA has just released the latest single 'Dancing In The Shadows (feat. Clementine Douglas)' from her highly anticipated forthcoming debut album 'Capricorn Sun' out on Ninja Tune on 7th October.

Fresh from being unveiled as DJ Mag’s newest cover star, TSHA has just released the latest single from her highly anticipated forthcoming debut album 'Capricorn Sun' — set for release on Ninja Tune on 7th October. Created over the past two years, the record delivers on the promise of her previous EP’s and Singles with 12 tracks that perfectly encapsulate the emotive blend of underground electronic and hook-laden pop sensibilities that have led to her being one of the most talked about new artists of the past few years.

Released this week, “Dancing In The Shadows” sees her enlist the vocal talents of Clementine Douglas for a brooding epic that builds in intensity before exploding into a hands-in-the-air moment of acid-inflected 4x4 euphoria. It’s the third single taken from her long-awaited debut album, following the release of “Giving Up ft. Mafro” and most recently, “Water” which featured vocals from GRAMMY winning Malian Griot artist Oumou Sangaré.

On top of this month’s DJ Mag cover — which included a huge 12-page spread inside the magazine — TSHA has also recently spoken with Andy Warhol’s infamous Interview Magazine and seen support from the likes of NME, Billboard, RA, and many more. TSHA has also contributed a special DJ mix for BBC Radio 1’s Dance Weekend, provided an exclusive mix for Mary Anne Hobbs’ show on BBC 6 Music and saw first single "Giving Up" playlisted at Radio 1 and added to Diplo’s Revolution on SiriusXM with further US radio support from SiriusXM’s BPM, KCRW, KUTX, KEXP and many more.

Additionally, TSHA was recently announced as one of 30 artists globally to be added to YouTube’s Foundry Class of 2022 — their flagship artist development program — following in the footsteps of Arlo Parks, Dave, Dua Lipa, Clairo, Japanese Breakfast, Omar Apollo, Rina Sawayama, ROSALÍA and many more.

The album follows her recent compilation for the revered ‘fabric presents’ series and an immense touring schedule that has seen her booked for over 100 shows across 2021/22, including opening for Disclosure at Alexandra Palace, performing to 40,000 fans across the West Coast of America with Bob Moses, an upcoming run of North American shows with Flume — including a stop at Colorado’s iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre — a festival run that included multiple sets at Glastonbury in June, Lollapalooza in Chicago, a sold-out debut headline set at Elsewhere in Brooklyn, NYC and an ongoing residency at Ibiza’s DC-10 for Circoloco.
