London four-piece Tooth share debut single 'The Age of Innocence' with video, out now on Soil To The Sun Recordings.

Today, rapidly rising London four-piece Tooth share their incendiary debut single 'The Age of Innocence', available now via tastemaker imprint Soil To The Sun Recordings (Cliffords, Hex Girlfriend).
Over the past few years, the quartet - comprised of Tom Pollock (guitar, vocals), Ben Ashley (guitar), Charlie Arnison (bass) and Roy Lowe (drums) - have meticulously honed their craft, becoming one of the most talked-about new bands in the country for their riotous live shows which fuse anthemic US alternative, second-wave emo and garage rock.
Building a devoted live following for a show that’s well-drilled yet off-kilter, as prone to erratic, noisy breakdowns as it is to shout-along choruses, they've racked up an impressive resumé that’s seen them open for the likes of Keo, Brigitte Calls Me Baby, Men An Tol and Dust and hit up festivals including Live At Leeds, Sŵn, Mutations, Kendall Calling and Tenement Trail. Their burgeoning presence on the London circuit has quickly led to the group being picked up by Raw Power Management (Heartworms, Bring Me The Horizon) and signing to Soil To The Sun.
Now, they arrive with a debut single that delivers on all the early hype: 'The Age of Innocence' is an arresting, immediate statement of intent built on rolling drums, spiky Walkmen-like guitars and Pollock’s shout-along vocals which capture the confused energy that greets the end of adolescence, where a wider world beckons in the mind's crosshairs.
Recorded at Church Studios in Crouch End by producer Kev Jones (Wunderhorse), mixed by Vince Ratti (Turnover, Scowl) and mastered by Will Yip (Turnstile, Title Fight), it perfectly recreates the immediacy and ambition of Tooth’s lauded live show, where timeless songwriting meets the bristling turbulence of youth.
"It was written almost as an epilogue for my adolescence, I was almost 18 and could feel this restless and confused teenage chapter of my life slowly coming to a close.
I realised how clueless I was as a teenager, but also how much fun I’d had. I think the lyrics reflect that duality and fondly reminisce on a period of life that can’t be experienced again. I think, for all of us, this song felt like the start and the end of something indefinable."
says Pollock
The single comes accompanied by a video - directed by Hermione Sylvester - that depicts the raw, unfettered energy of a Tooth show, documenting a raucous London date in late 2025.
For those looking to get in on the action, the band play a sold-out headline London show at The Lexington for Abbie McCarthy's Future Karma Ones to Watch 2026 tomorrow night, the So Young Weekender this weekend in Southampton and make an appearance at Dublin's Borderline Festival next month. It's shaping up to be a huge year for a band that have put in the hard miles to get here.
