Sesame Girl share new single 'Prettiest Girl In The World' and release new EP 'Butterfly Wing In A Silver Locket'.

Sesame Girl today release their new EP Butterfly Wing in a Silver Locket and share a video for new song 'Prettiest Girl In The World'. The EP was produced by Simon Lam (Armlock, Kllo, Charli XCX).
“I’ve always been really obsessed with butterflies ever since I was a little kid, and so the title ‘Butterfly Wing in a Silver Locket’ feels very sentimental. A locket to me is also the ultimate accessory of sentimentality, like wearing a photo of someone you love in a necklace? That’s so special,”
said Heather Duncan.
“We made this record with our all time favourite producer Simon Lam. While we were recording we were really into the natural, organic texture of sounds like banjo and slide and acoustic guitar. We paired all those with some more gazey and crunchy guitar tones to create something that feels really unique and genuine to us.”
Sesame Girl will embark on a five date headline Australian tour from 14 August, playing in Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Sydney, and their home town of Wollongong, ending the run at Bloomfield Music and Arts Festival in Buangla, NSW. They’ll be joined by friends Lover, Paint, Koady, Margaret, binsad, yearn, and in Sydney and Canberra, a special drag performance by Faye Fem.
