Secret Cameras

London-based darkwave duo Secret Cameras share their new single "Our Love".

"Our Love" is the new single of the London-based darkwave duo Secret Cameras, this new song is a driving, dancefloor-ready darkwave anthem and an unflinching declaration of love, celebrating a bond that no adversity and no force can truly break.

Following the release of Silent Words in January 2026, "Our Love" marks another step forward for Secret Cameras: a deliberate stride deeper into the shadows, yet one that carves out new space for warmth, vulnerability, and the kind of raw sentimental honesty that only the darkwave genre can hold without flinching.

At its heart, "Our Love" is a love song but one refracted through the unmistakable lens of the Darkwave genre. The track hits hard and doesn't let go, a relentless four-on-the-floor kick drives the song forward from the very first bar, locking in a groove that will get heads bobbing and bodies moving in a way only the best dancefloor can.It also holds a tender, deeply felt declaration to a loved one, drenched in shadow and atmosphere yet radiating from its core. The song celebrates a relationship in full: the connection, the salvation, the unshakeable certainty that together we are stronger than anything life throws your way.

The recurring line "nothing can kill the flame" becomes the track's pulsating heart, a mantra that builds with every spin into something euphoric and defiant.

Think the propulsive dancefloor pulse of She Wants Revenge, the hypnotic drive of Lebanon Hanover's most kinetic moments, the dark club energy of Cold Cave, the brooding momentum of Boy Harsher, and the infectious shadowy groove of Twin Tribes  all filtered through Secret Cameras' own unmistakable sound.

"Even in the Darkest of the moments, Love doesn't stop being the main force leading us forward, there is something both terrifying and beautiful about finding the right one, the person who saves you from loneliness, the one whose presence makes everything else bearable, even the darkest of the nights.

'Our Love' is our way of celebrating that. Loudly: because nothing can kill the flame."

the band reflects.

Where Silent Words was a reckoning, a closing chapter defined by tension and a cold staring into the future, "Our Love" feels a confident stride forward: chest out, eyes open, and the dancefloor waiting.

Secret Cameras is a London based duo who continues to sharpen its signature blend of shadowy, electrifying synth textures and raw analog elements rooted in Darkwave, Post-Punk and Goth Rock.

The sound of the band naturally recalls the brooding electronic pulse and emotional depth of genre-defining acts like Depeche Mode and The Cure, the visceral intensity of Placebo and the cold minimalism of Lebanon Hanover, while equally resonating with the dark romanticism and Darkwave edge of modern artists such as Twin Tribes, Mareux and EKKSTACY

Since its formation, the band have carved out a distinctive identity within the UK's alternative underground, earning a loyal following through relentless live performances and a string of critically noted releases.

The band first announced to the world in 2017 with the self-titled debut EP, a six tracks statement of intent mixed by legendary producer Dave Bascombe (whose credits include Depeche Mode, Suede, Placebo and the Courteeners). The record quickly caught the ear of tastemakers and radio programmers alike, earning significant support from BBC 6 Music, Radio X, BBC London, Amazing Radio and RTE 2FM, while tracks from the EP were also picked up by Spotify's global editorial playlists.

After touring, Secret Cameras returned in 2020 with the single The Silence. The track resonated deeply with fans and press alike, with BBC 6 Music's Steve Lamacq praising it as "Majestic." Amazon Music UK also took notice, featuring the song on their prestigious Best New Bands playlist, a testament to the band's ability to capture the mood of the moment.

Following a lineup evolution, 2024 saw SECRET CAMERAS re-emerge with renewed energy and the EP Surrender to the Process, a record warmly received by fans and tastemakers that secured editorial playlist placements on both Deezer and Apple Music. The band kept the momentum going through 2025 with a run of hard-hitting singles, Under Attack, No More and Back Against the Wall, each one building further anticipation and notching impressive numbers across streaming platforms.

In January 2026, SECRET CAMERAS delivered their most fully realised work to date with the release of Silent Words. The four-track EP which collects Together Till the End, No More, Under Attack and Back Against the Wall, has been praised by press for its emotional depth and sonic ambition. Across the dark music community, Silent Words has been celebrated as a bold step forward, cementing Secret Cameras' place within the Post-Punk and Gothic Rock landscape.

Music platform AnalogueTrash described the band's sound on the EP as featuring "pain-washed vocals and crunching gothic synths driven unwillingly forward to the future by forceful percussion"

Live, Secret Cameras have always punched above their weight. The band have headlined sold-out shows across London and performed at Kendal Calling, in both 2022 and 2024, consistently winning over new audiences with their visceral, high-energy performances.

2026 promises to be their biggest year yet. With a UK and European tour on the horizon and more new music on the way throughout the year, Secret Cameras are a band in full momentum, louder, sharper and more compelling than ever.
