Neighbour Club announce debut EP 'Snail Mail' and release second single "Only Fractions"
London indie newcomers Neighbour Club announce debut EP ‘Snail Mail’, set for release September 25th, and share pulsating new track ‘Only Fractions’.
Marking the follow-up to acclaimed debut single ‘Gold Leaf Girl’ earlier this summer, the slacker rock specialists are certainly beginning to make a name for themselves, with plaudits arriving from the likes of Rough Trade, as well as initial BBC 6 Music airplay (Emily Pilbeam).
Formed in the capital by a few trauma-bonded former colleagues of a reality TV post production house, Neighbour Club (Lydia Shaw (Guitar, Vocals), Connor O'Leary (Guitar, Vocals), Suraj Karir (Bass), & Franz Etten (Drums)), play utterly unpretentious and somewhat Americana-inspired songs to make people dance and sway in equal measure, and are attracting plenty of fanfare in the process.
Teaming with esteemed producer Tom Kellett (Moreish Idols, Pearl2) at the Speedy Wunderground satellite studio in Streatham to record ‘Snail Mail’, Neighbour Club have already ticked off several intimate shows across various skateparks and record stores (incl. Dash The Henge) in London.
Delivering a blistering live show in their very own trademark style, the quartet will be hitting the live circuit this autumn (headline show at London’s iconic The Windmill venue + much more) to coincide with the arrival of their debut EP.
Detailing their newest EP teaser, the four-piece explained:
“'Only Fractions' is the second single from our upcoming EP ‘Snail Mail’ - we’ve taken it down a notch with a hangover drenched look at relationships passed. We intended it to be a track to hum in your head whilst you scramble round the house looking for Sunday's second Ibuprofen hit.”
