Emerging Suffolk-based singer-songwriter and producer Liv Bloore makes her debut with "The Darling Song".

Singer-songwriter and producer Liv Bloore (she/they) steps confidently into the spotlight with the release of her debut single, ‘The Darling Song’, a hauntingly beautiful introduction to an artist set to make waves in the indie-folk world.
Laced with tenderness, yearning, and emotion, ‘The Darling Song’ captures the quiet ache of falling in love from a distance.
Speaking on the story behind the song, Bloore shares:
“The Darling Song is about falling in love from afar. What begins as a harmless admiration quickly spirals into fantasies of having a long life together - growing grey, watering plants, drinking wine, and staring into each other’s eyes.
Before long, all of that fades as desperation grows, and all you really want is for the one you love to call you “darling” - forever, or even for a fleeting moment.”
Backed by stirring string sections, delicate acoustic textures, and their honeyed vocals, Bloore channels their desires into an intimate yet powerful sound. Drawing inspiration from artists like Phoebe Bridgers, Ethel Cain, and Florence + The Machine, Bloore’s music walks the line between ethereal and grounded - never quite one thing or another, making it all the more compelling.
A classically trained musician, songwriter, and producer, Bloore’s artistry is deeply personal. Every element of her music, from the composition to the final production, wears her fingerprints, making ‘The Darling Song’ a full expression of their artistic vision.
This debut marks the first glimpse into Bloore’s upcoming EP, which promises to be a collection of vulnerable, indie-folk gems rooted in emotion and quiet power.
Liv Bloore is a singer-songwriter and producer from the patchwork fields of the Suffolk countryside. Her songwriting is inspired by her early years playing the piano and being left to her childhood musings in muddy fields, lost in imaginary worlds. Although they were used to the quiet of the countryside, during the heightened isolation of the pandemic Liv transformed their diary entries and rambling inner monologue into song.
As a producer, Liv draws inspiration from her university years, when she studied classical music and sang in a chapel choir. Their music weaves together layers of harmonies, melodic piano runs and soaring vocals. Their classical training was interrupted by an obsession with ethereal indie rock artists including Florence + The Machine, boygenius, and Ethel Cain. Twisting these two genres together, Liv's unique sound blends indie folk with choral textures, string arrangements, and poetic lyrics. Starting every song with the words, her lyrics touch on themes of emotional intimacy, grief, childhood, and the constant push and pull of religion as a source of love and existentialism.
