Gurriers share new single/visualiser “Pins” taken from second album, Nobody’s Coming To Save You, released on 25 September 2026 via Play It Again Sam.
Dublin’s Gurriers today share new single, “Pins”, the fourth track to be lifted from their forthcoming album, Nobody’s Coming To Save You, set for release on 25 September 2026 via their new label home, Play It Again Sam.
“Pins” leans into a new direction musically for Gurriers, embracing a 90s boom bap style production and swagger while also staying true to their alternative rock guitar flavoured roots.
“Pins” is Gurriers at their most vulnerable: a song about loving someone completely while struggling to find any love for yourself. Balancing raw emotion with the band's driving intensity, it captures the push and pull between devotion and self-worth.
The track marks another bold step in Gurriers' rapid rise and follows the release of “Nothing Happens Twice”, which currently sits on the on BBC Radio 6 Music B-List, and “Nobody’s Coming To Save You”, which was A-Listed at BBC Radio 6 Music and has received support from NME, Rolling Stone, KEXP and Wonderland as well as the fan favourite, “Party Lines”.
Hot on the heels from recent festival shows at Electric Picnic, Rock n Roll Circus and Leeds Festival, as well as being special guests of Kneecap in Crystal Palace Park, London back in June, Gurriers will embark on a UK & Ireland outstore record shop tour later this month, with dates in Dublin, Edinburgh, Dundee, Liverpool, Nottingham, Cardiff and Oxford.
Spanning seven dates across seven cities, the tour highlights independent music retailers including Spindizzy, Assai Records, Jacaranda, Rough Trade and Truck Store.
Following a couple of years that saw Gurriers graduate from sweat-soaked clubs to festival main stages and arenas, the band are playing an extensive UK and European headline tour this autumn, including London’s Electric Brixton on 24 October and two major Dublin shows at Vicar Street and 3Olympia Theatre. Supporting the band on the tour each night will be one of Enola Gay, Tramhaus, Really Good Time or Child Of Prague.
To celebrate the release of the album, there will also be two launch parties in Manchester (The Abbey, 23 September) and London (Moylett’s, 1 October). The events will feature Gurriers DJ set, album playback, goodybags and giveaways. Entry is via pre-order competition here.
Recorded between Donegal’s Attica Studios and Holy Mountain Studios in London, Nobody’s Coming To Save You was produced by Mark Bowen (Idles) and Loren Humphrey (Geese, Cameron Winter), alongside engineer Chris Fullard (Idles, Sunn O)))) and mixed by John Congleton (St. Vincent, Modest Mouse, Swans). The album captures Gurriers scaling up every element that made their debut so compelling - sharper dynamics, towering production and an even more urgent worldview.
Formed during the pandemic, Gurriers quickly built a reputation for bone-rattling, mosh-ready live shows and sharp, socially conscious songwriting. Since their debut’s release, the milestones have continued to stack up: a standout appearance on Later… with Jools Holland, main stage performances across Glastonbury’s Woodsies and Leftfield stages, and arena support slots with Turnstile and Kneecap.
On Nobody’s Coming To Save You, Gurriers channel the spirit of protest, resistance and personal reflection into some of their most ambitious material to date. This is Gurriers taking all the musical chemistry and smart, interrogational worldview that made them great in the first place, and souping it up to the next level. From the rattling tension of the title track’s opening moments, to slow-burning intensity and dance-punk hedonism, giving way to a cacophonous, cathartic climax, Nobody’s Coming To Save You takes this spirit of the sweaty basement venue and turns it stadium-sized. It’s not just loud, but dynamic.
