Rising US duo Girl Tones return with new single 'Burnout' & announce UK dates.

Girl Tones, of planet Earth, are a high-energy rock duo brought to life by two sisters named Kenzie and Laila. Both classically trained musicians, Kenzie transitioned from cello to guitar and Laila from piano to drums in an effort to electrify sentient beings from this galaxy to the next. Their debut releases were produced by Brad Shultz of Cage The Elephant and released via his label Parallel Vision in partnership with Big Loud Rock.
Following a string of blistering releases through 2025, rock duo Girl Tones have released their guitar-driven, combustible new single ‘Burnout’.
Starting the song asking “Can you hear me now,” the band already knows everyone is hanging onto their every word. On October 7th, ‘Burnout’ will be featured in a new episode of ABC's High Potential starring Kaitlin Olso.
Setting out on an anxious bank robbing heist in the “Burnout” official video, directed by Casey Pierce in Nashville, Girl Tones are taking what they want and lighting all the evidence ablaze with their final match.
“‘Burnout’ is about our attention spans shrinking and the need for instant gratification, the pressure of constantly producing and consuming. How do we keep up without burning out?
This song inspires me to slow down and enjoy the smaller things in life and preserve the creative spark at all costs.”
the band’s vocalist Kenzie shared.
Girl Tones have had a nonstop year of undeniable momentum. Over the summer, they made their festival debut at Lollapalooza and Shaky Knees, with Austin City Limits up next. They also toured alongside The Velveteers, hey, nothing, Silversun Pickups and Cage The Elephant, with more shows with Cage The Elephant coming up this week. In November, Girl Tones will cross the pond to play The Great Escape’s First Fifty show in London, as well as a run of dates alongside Sunday (1994).
