ELLUR releases final LP reveal 'Dream Of Mine' out today taken from her debut LP 'At Home In My Mind' out Feb 6th via DANCE TO THE RADIO.

Halifax indie specialist Ellur shares brand new single ‘Dream Of Mine’, out today (BBC 6 Music Steve Lamacq premiere last night) via cult indie label Dance To The Radio.
The final preview from forthcoming debut LP ‘At Home In My Mind’, set for release February 6th, Ellur’s dreamy, Americana-tinged offering showcases yet another side to the enigmatic musician. Detailing its origins, she revealed:
“‘Dream of Mine’ was written a very long time ago about feeling selfish for wanting to pursue a career that requires a lot of sacrifices.
I was feeling insecure and worried my long-term partner would decide that being with a musician would be too much for them. I’m very much interested in the conflict of being a woman and the fact my first priority is not to settle down, get married and provide emotionally for a family.
It’s an expectation so woven into society and I find it interesting that you don’t really hear male rock stars apologising for wanting success.
Written with Jack Leonard (UNKLE) and inspired by the rock bands I grew up listening to The War on Drugs, The 1975, The Cure and of course my ultimate hero CMAT.”
An open invite into the world of the enigmatic musician, ‘At Home In My Mind’ is a journey around Ellur’s mind; it dips into different musical genres that have shaped her for the past 24 years – from the 90s indie rock she grew up with, to glitch-pop she discovered in her late teens to the alt-folk she cherishes now. Ellur has created a warm abode for her thoughts and experiences as a young woman growing up in Yorkshire’s Calderdale Valley and ‘At Home In My Mind’ beds them all in, safely together.
Having already shared lead singles ‘The World Is Not An Oyster’, ‘The Wheel’ and ‘Missing Kid’, praise continues to reverberate around the press landscape and the BBC Radio 1 (Jack Saunders, Gemma Bradley, Jess Iszatt, Mollie King, Sian Eleri - ‘Next Wave’ interview) and BBC 6 Music (Steve Lamacq, Chris Hawkins, Deb Grant, Nathan Shepherd, Emily Pilbeam) airwaves as her record release approaches.
Firmly capitalising on the buzz around her soaring profile, Ellur’s brutally honest reflection on life in her emerging 20s has brought plenty of fanfare and endorsements from various artists including The Flaming Lips’ Wayne Coyne, as well as songwriting sessions and podcasting slots with the likes of Antony Szmierek, Blossoms and Jade Bird. With a first full UK tour including six sold-out dates last autumn (incl. London, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle & Bristol) and a mammoth 2026 live plot ready to unveil, the burgeoning musician is certainly primed to reach new heights.
Ellur’s ‘Dream of Mine’ is out now via Dance To The Radio and available on all digital platforms.
