London-based soft grunge / dream pop five-piece, Baby Ghoul, release their debut single ‘Horseshoe’ via-Agent Anonyme Recordings, the independent label founded by Daphne Guinness.

Built around layered guitars and a restrained, slow-burning arrangement, ‘Horseshoe’ centres on themes of fortune, love and the consequences of choice, carried by Aimee Gillingwater’s vocal.
Speaking about the track, Aimee shares,
“‘Horseshoe’ looks at what makes me feel lucky and how grateful I am to have experienced a life unique to me. An amalgamation of the grunge music I fell in love with as a teenager, the cinema that’s walked me through life, and the country rock n roll I was brought up with as a kid.
An ode and thanks to the people and places in my life who have shaped my world. A special mention to London (UK), Auckland (New Zealand), Pioneer Town (California), my family, my friends, my lovers, and my mentors. How lucky I am.”
Baby Ghoul performed this week at Below Stone Nest in Soho. The show followed a support slot at the 100 Club in March (with Stolen Nova and Lava La Rue), and a headline performance at Lost in Soho late last year.
More music and dates to be announced soon.
