Artificial Go are announcing their signing to Carpark Records, and sharing the single "Triple Ones". European tour, starts on May 10th.
Artificial Go is a Cincinatti band composed of lead vocalist Angie Willcutt, drummer Cole G Patrick, guitarist Ryan Sennett, and bassist Micah Wu. Three of them live in the same building, where they practice in the basement and record in the (haunted) attic.
Today, the band are announcing their signing to Carpark Records, and releasing a single called "Triple Ones," which will be one side of a 7 inch the label will release on June 12th. The single arrives ahead of the band's first European tour, which starts on May 10th.
Angie says of the track:
“Triple Ones” is a play on words from an underpaid check. My ex-boss sent out an incorrect paycheck as the angel number “$111”, attempting to come across as spiritual when underpaying me.
The song is about the times that life throws out experiences that force you to stand up for yourself and question those around you."
The band released two LPs in 8 months across 2024 and 2025, that rapidly created a stir in the increasingly vibrant midwestern guitar pop scene, leading to a glut or touring with peers like Sharp Pins, 2w33dy, and Good Flying Birds, and they recently went on the road with Ty Seagall.
