The live music ticketing and discovery platform DICE launches
“NEW SHOWS THURSDAY” in Paris France
DICE, the live music ticketing and discovery platform, invites fans to recreate human bonds, to discover the capital’s hot spots and the artists that play there, and to live real life experiences
with its new ad campaign and the launch of DICE’s new feature “New Shows Thursday”,
taking a new step forward towards personalisation and music discovery.
DICE, an app serving human bonds and new experiences, We look at our smartphones every twelve minute on average, and spend more than three hours a day on them. DICE encourages fans to reject the trappings of social media and go out instead.
Discover new artists, new venues, new events: these are DICE’s aims. Through DICE’s algorithms, and the synchronisation of each fan’s Spotify and/or Apple Music accounts, personalised suggestions for each music fan are generated. The more the app is used, the more relevant the recommendations become.
Being a Hip Hop, Electro, or Indie music fan, there’s an event for each of them on DICE.
“New Shows Thursday”, is a new discovery feature on the app, think of “New Shows Thursday” as the live equivalent of Spotify’s “Discover Weekly”: this new feature, in the Discover section of the app, offers the possibility to its fans, every Thursday, to be offered a carefully curated selection of gigs that were announced in the past seven days.
The feature has been a huge hit in the UK, with Weekly Active Users doubling and ticket sales from
DICE’s Discovery feature up 68% since its launch last year.
Alba Gautier, Country Manager DICE France, said:
“As a fan, one of the biggest challenges is keeping on top of all the amazing gigs and events happening in Paris.
There’s nothing worse than seeing photos on social media from an incredible show you didn’t even know about.
New Shows Thursday is here to remedy this issue. It’s curated, personalised and takes the effort out of finding your next great night out.
DICE exists to create real memories and connections.
We’re on a mission to help music fans across Paris stop scrolling social media and get out more.”
Since its launch, DICE stands out thanks to an honest and ethical approach and fan-friendly features:
upfront pricing means the price you see upfront is the price paid, and DICE’s unique Refund and
Waiting List features help fans get access to tickets to sold out shows and protect fans from secondary resale sites. The app offers fans safe and secure tickets locked to smartphones that can’t be resold by touts.
Having been in Paris just under a year, DICE is already working with some of the biggest and best venues, promoters and festivals in Paris, securing exclusive partnerships with the likes of Joséphine, Le Kube, Le Pop Up, A La Folie, Le Sacré, GDS, Sierra Neon, Ground Control
and Pete The Monkey.
Founded in London in 2014, DICE has transformed how fans discover and buy tickets.
DICE is live in the UK, US, France, Italy, Australia and most recently, in Spain, where it signed an exclusive partnership with global music brand, Primavera Sound.
DICE is on a mission to get people out more. The DICE app makes it easy to find and book tickets to a list of incredible events personalised for everyone on DICE.
From Slowthai, Bicep to Adele, up-and-coming to the world’s biggest artists, if it’s on DICE, it’s worth your time. DICE is mobile- first to stop touts and to protect people from paying over the odds.
