Meet Danielle Johnson, a 21 year old musician, Ex Believer, lover of vintage sci-fi with a natural talent, she started creating music on her own out of boredom, soon realising, after she put online her first song, that people were liking what she was doing, and then it was all a Grand Junction between her and the music industry, bound to last A Million Years.
We had the chance to watch her show at Primavera Sound's Adidas Originals Stage in 2013, with drummer Chris Egan, and we are so glad we didn't miss it, being this a magnificent Lo-fi concert In So Many Ways. We can't wait to see her playing again.
You can see the pictures of the show here.
She was nice to answer a few of our questions, this is what she said:
BIZZARRE: Who are you... today?
DANIELLE: I am myself, I think!
B: What inspires you when creating your tracks?
D: Everything from movies, to books, to certain moods.
D: I've had plenty, but to name one, I used to dream about this secret stone wall at my dads house that I used to get stuck behind and there were elves there. (in real life there is not stone wall) I'd have it every night for so long then one day it just disappeared. I have no idea what it means!
D: Memory and experience.
D: Of course.
D: A veterinarian and astronaut.
D: I can't stop listening to the new Nine Inch Nails single "Came Back Haunted". So good, love the 909 drum beat.
BIZZARRE: ¿Quién eres tú ... hoy en día?
B: ¿Qué te inspira a la hora de crear tus canciones?
